a new motive…
Sep. 23,2019–Journaling has taken on such a significantly dynamic meaning to me over the past few months. Lately it’s been as the preservation of realization: the things I realize about something that has happened, what has been said, what really occurred when I had a certain experience—all the pieces coming together and offering a new conclusion, closure, etc.
Realization can be the beginning of a new set of life decisions and thus a new bloodline. Thus, preserving it is marking and making a memorial. Every revelation, dawning of meaning, and the delayed delivery of the truth of a matter into the soul that reroutes us towards preordained dignity is a marker of ancestral excellence. They must be put into writing for our descendants, who must know every point at which we changed.
