As it Moves Through You

Some things we go through are unbearable to comprehend and are nearly impossible to write. We feel language needling through us, but when we pick up the pen our script goes numb.

This is just fine. There are moments to just make space and feel, letting the delayed impact of ”what actually happened” rip through you like a tantrum brined with tears or vacuumed sealed with a heave of silence. When the time comes—maybe the next day, maybe a year later—you’ll be able to write all about it. For now, move through it as it moves you.
