What does it mean to be a Thinking Teastained Woman? It means to understand the value (and threat) of a sound, critically-thinking, guarded, discerning mind. It means that you carry yourself in such a way in which your lifestyle reverences your possibilities, future tense, ability to hear from the Divine, grandchildren, narrative, spirit and soul. It’s being a woman of substance and operating in a standard that protects that substance. It’s making decisions that are conducive to being fed by wisdom and creating an inheritance.

This stationery collection is for those of us who know that there are wars waging against our minds to get us to focus on everything else except purpose. Whether it be through capricious agreements with thoughts that don’t belong to us, skewed statistics, beholdingfantastical imagery, hearing nasty song lyrics, believing societal lies, etc.—the battles are relentless and the stakes are high if we aren’t vigilant.

We are women of substance whose journeys in purpose are powerful. The lie is that this power—rooted in truth and wisdom—is welcomed in this world. It’s not. We have to fight against the things entering our minds seeking to dilute and demilitarize us until we become nothing more than followers perpetuating vicious cycles who make evil men rich. And then calling ourselves successful because we make paychecks, too lulled to see we never made legacies.

What truth do you know? Guard it. What idea do you have? Protect it. What are you supposed to do? Don’t be distracted.
