A Moment with Sandi

11/17/2019–Grateful to have captured this hierloom of a moment with Sandi at the last popup. She stopped by to get another journal to document her first pregnancy. When she displayed her current VGB journal, I asked to briefly document the moment.

She flipped through her current, nearly-completed VGB journal, carefully paging her entries just above her gently-protruded belly. At such moments my head goes a million miles per minute with feelings of electric confirmation and inspiration; I also freak out about both being present and properly capturing the very much “alive” moment with the camera.

I’m so grateful for teastained woman documenting themselves. In an age of history being deliberately mistranslated as mythology, our living witness accounts will prove vital for our descendants to navigate the times with truth and wisdom. All teastained matriarchs should have libraries. .
