Towards Historicizing: A VGB Booklette-Zine
As teastained women with resonant histories in a society poised towards our amnesia and erasure, we have to make a departure from merely “journaling” and head towards historicizing.
I wanted to write something short and strong, that presented the gravitas of journaling for we teastained women in concentrated, unwavering language. This is my humble offering: a bookletine (yes I made that word up) that speaks to mandate and motive for why we should preserve our narratives and the spiritual-societal attacks against us when we set ourselves to do so. In my best way I have written what’s the Most High has shown me in the 12+ years I have been keeping a journal.
If you’re new to journaling this bookletine will give you a surge of direction and insight as to what your journaling practice is establishing for you as a matriarch. However if you’re an established journaler this bookletine will reinvigorate your approach to your documentations and hopefully, usher you into another dimension of preserving your personal histories through journaling.
A lofty vision, but the urgency is upon us.
The Towards Historicizing bookletine is 44 pages.*
Each bookletine comes with:
(2) postcards from the endemic “Write Your World!” image series introduced in the book.
(3) quote stickers
