About this series:

During my visit with my mother, I've been inspired by all she's shared with me. It's forced me to remember that this soulful journey is largely about how we infer, retain, process, and eventually share lessons and revelations from the narratives of our journey’s experiences. Can another hear healing, gain understanding and glean morsels of empowerment from what you’re bringing to them from your journey?

What's the point if we aren't bringing anything to the table that another can partake of to nourish their forward? What's the point if we go through and have nothing to bring to uplift and encourage another's soul? What's the point of growing old if you never heal, never get wisdom, never pursue wholeness, never seek peace? What are we bringing with us?

This journey is collective, and we are interconnected when we crossed paths and share our narrative’s insights with each other, with our descendants. The fruits of existence we harvest in our individual lives are part of what we serve to fellow sojourners or to our future descendants. What are we bringing to the metaphorical "banquet table" of our seasons, life chapters? Unripened, spoiled fruits of our life decisions pulled from bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness or ripe, nourishing fruits from wisdom gained from lessons learned and resolves to persevere through hard times?

When people need words of encouragement or insights based on our soulful sojourning experience, what are we bringing to them in that moment? Finally, do we live our lives with the remembrance that somewhere into the future another will need to feed on the fruits we are bearing with our life decisions, with what we choose to remember, with what we choose to hold onto or release; accept or reject? What are you prepared to bring to sojourners in need of your truth?

Journey Soulfully.
Peace
